aliaZ had lots of information on the topic that I read up on before converting. It was years ago but I still had some links. Here's one he posted specifically about just the low pressure cutoff: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2531566/pressure-switch-installs-in-place-of-the-OEM-switch-in-the.html ]But I agree that the fact it reached that kind of pressure is concerning. Had it been cooling while driving earlier? I would think that if the dryer was that plugged it would have had a noticeable impact on the cooling ability, as that would be where a pressure drop occurred. I've been reading up on newer ac systems to try and maintain my son's 2009 Altima (variable displacement compressor). What a pain.

Sister: "He probably does, and as long as you're okay with that, everything will be fine." |
